The Past Lingers

We are all a product of our past.  The goals that we’ve achieved.  The mistakes that we’ve made.  The paths that we’ve taken and the ones that we were too afraid to walk down.  The past is always there and, the more that we dwell on it, the more power that it has over us.  It is the shadow that controls us.
