Poisonous

You can sense it.  At first, you admired the beauty and elegance of your desire.  You wish you could hold them forever.  Over time, you think that they have changed. They haven’t.  You’ve just ignored the signs that others saw.  You were dazzled by their looks and thought that the beauty on the inside is matched by the beauty of their outer appearance.  Over time, you see that their poisonous nature will consume you or drive you away.  Trust your feelings.  It will guide you when you cannot trust your eyes.
