Scars
Scars. They appear scary to those around us, but they shouldn’t be. Most men see them as a badge of honor and are proud to show them. Most women see them as a blemish and wish to hide them. Both ideas have merit. However, the scar is just external evidence of something that happened to us. The internal scars we deal with are far deadlier and have a greater effect on our lives. It is the internal scars, if not properly dealt with, that are truly scary.
