We like to think that Death is one-sided. He comes in the night and takes us away somewhere. What if we’re wrong? What if Death is always a part of us but we’re also a part of him? Would we fear such a thing if we knew that we are returning to our beginnings rather than being dragged from our current lives? Would we fear him so much if Death was about coming home and becoming whole again?
