When soldiers go into combat, they are mentally and physically prepared to deal with situations outside of their control. They have the equipment and training to help them. It’s not that they will succeed or that they know what is going to happen. All they know is that they can successfully adapt to the situation. No matter what tasks you undertake, some form of preparation always helps to achieve your goal. You may succeed without the preparation but the chances of failure are much higher.
