We learn to live with the pain. In the beginning, it is all-consuming. It is all that we think about. Over time, our senses begin to dull to that pain. We’ve accepted it and, possibly, learned to live with it. How does that pain change us? Do we take it out on others? Do we suppress it and live with it? Do we use it as leverage to make others do what we want them to? How you live with the pain defines how others see you.
