When I was younger, I thought that I was pretty awesome.  I thought that I could do anything that I wanted and the world was my oyster. As I got older, I realized that that's not true.  There are limitations to everyone and, yes, if you work hard enough and make the right decisions, you possibly could achieve your goals.  The problem is... learning what is holding you back so that you can reach those goals.

Everybody has something that holds them back. Sometimes, it's physical.  Most of the time, it's mental.  Most of the time, you don't see it... you're too close to the problem.  It's a part of you.  However, if you ask your friends, the odds are pretty good that they all see it.  They know what is happening and what destructive behavior you are doing that causes you to fail in your goals.

I never knew this until I met Kira.  She was honest with me. Sometimes she told me what I wanted to hear but, when it was important, she told me what I needed to hear.  My life is always better because of her being in my life.
